「夕飯に肉と魚どっちが食べたい？」

「「はいっ！肉がいいです!！」」

夕食を作る前の珍しい優騎からの選択に真っ先に答えたのはレースゲームをしていた蓮と亜由美だ。

２人して優騎に振り返って手を挙げて言ったため、コントロールされていない画面内の2台の車は200キロを超えたスピードで壁にぶつかり爆発していた。

ぶつかったら即ゲームオーバーのゲームの為、画面には"GAME OVER"と書かれているのを2人は知らない。

「肉２票な、桜と風華はどうする？」

「「車、俺(私)の車がいつの間にかウェルダンに！？」」

画面に戻った蓮と亜由美の驚きはスルーして優騎は自分の英語のノートを書き写す風華と、その対面で読書をする桜に聞く。

「昨日はお肉だったから私はお魚がいいかな」

「私もお魚がいい。ぶり大根が食べたい」

桜は本を読みながらそう答え、風華はペンを持つ手を止め無茶を言う。

ものの見事に割れてしまったと優騎が悩んでいると

「ユウ兄〜、お水ちょうだ〜い」

ちょうど良い所にマユがやってきた。

「マユ、魚と肉どちらが食べたい？」

「んー……。お魚がいい、カレイの煮付けが食べたいから」

さっきから無茶ばかりいいやがって……。
冷蔵庫の中にはサバしかないのだぞ。

しかし、どちらにするかは決まった。
ついでに献立も決まった。

「……今日はサバ味噌にしよう」
