「えーっと、説明してもいいかな？」

一応寮長である刻也が寮でのルールをマユに説明を始めた。
桜は夕食の準備が出来たら呼んでと自室に戻り、蓮と絋斗、亜由美の3人は夕食が出来るまで適当なテレビ番組でも見るらしくテレビの前に陣取っている。

「……くそ、まだ痺れてる気がする」

「あはは……」

すぐそばのキッチンでは優騎が夕食を作り風華がそれを手伝う。

「まず食事についてだけどマユさんは料理はできるかい？」

「……いえ、まったく」

マユは申し訳なさそうに顔を伏せる。
天使家では母と優騎しか料理は出来ないなんて話を昨年の優騎が言っていたなと刻也が思い出す。

「では昨年どうり食事は優騎君が頼りになるな」

「まぁ、そんな予感はしてましたよ……」

キッチンの優騎が玉ねぎをみじん切りにしながら哀しそうに呟く。

「あの、他の皆さんは？」

「一応僕や石動さんは簡単なものなら出来るけど…」

何故、優騎ばかりなのだろうとマユが聞くと刻也は後ろ頭をかきながらそれに答える。

「お恥ずかしい話だが本当に簡単なものしか出来ないからね、栄養が偏ってしまうんだよ」

「な、なるほど」

まだ料理が出来る刻也と桜はまだいい方だろと優騎は思い隣でひき肉をこねる風華を横目でみる。

「ねえ、何か失礼な事を思われた気がしたんだけど……」

「……気のせいだろ」
