「冬木先輩ってメガネかけてましたっけ？」

「いつもはコンタクトなんだけどね」

そう言い刻也はパンを口に運ぶ。
マユがこの寮に来て最初の休みの事だ。
珍しく昼近くになって起きてきた刻也の顔には確かに眼鏡があった。

「今日は休みだし面倒になったから眼鏡なんだ」

去年も何度か刻也は眼鏡をかけたが、かけるたびに誰にマユの様な質問をされているためか、受け答えはスムーズだ。

「この寮にって他に眼鏡をかける人っているんですか？」

「んー。蓮は解るか？」

朝食、いや時間的には昼食を食べ終えた刻也は暇そうにしている蓮に聞く。

「あー、絋斗とかはよく伊達眼鏡かけてるな。あとは優騎」

「えっ！？」

まさか自分の兄の名がそこに含まれているとは思わなかったマユから驚きの声が上がる。

「あれ？優騎君って眼悪かったっけ？」

「いえ。伊達眼鏡っすよ」

蓮によれば去年の夏くらいに3人で出かけたときに買ったんだとか……。

「ユウ兄の眼鏡かけてる姿とか想像出来ない……」

妹としては見てみたい気もするが、どうしても想像出来ない。

「去年も何回かかけてたはずっす」

「少し見てみたいね」

はははと笑う刻也と蓮。
実はこの3人、本当は皆と一緒に買い物に行くはずだったのだが。
しかし、3人とも揃いも揃って寝坊したのだ。

「……冬木先輩。私の分の朝食って」

「キッチンにあるよ」

「パンは好きなやつ食べていいぞー」


きっと帰ってきたら3人とも怒られるのだろう。
正座で１時間コースで……。
