一匹の猫と一匹の犬の話し


猫は昔拾われて来ました。

子猫の時に
拾われて家に着いた。
その家には一匹の牝犬が
いました。

子猫は警戒心むき出しだったが
犬は静かに見ているだけで
何もしませんでした。
数日だって犬と猫は親子のごとく
猫が犬にじゃれています。

犬の散歩に出かける時は
猫も一緒に付いて来ました。

そうして
月日が流れて
猫と犬は老いてきました
それでも
猫と犬はいつも一緒にいました。


とある冬の季節
暖炉の前で猫と犬は
寄り添いながら
静かに息をとめました

飼い主は
猫と犬を
桜の下に埋めてあげました。

数十年後その桜の下には
猫と犬が仲良く寄り添う
場所として今も猫と犬が
仲良くある場所としてあります
