「そういや、明日って選択科目あるよね？」

「……あるな」

ある日の放課後、帰るために荷物をまとめていると既にバックを持った風華が優騎の前に来てそんな事を言った。

優騎達の学園の選択科目とは前にも言ったように家庭科、音楽、美術の授業を全クラス合同で行うものだ。

勿論、自分が受ける授業は自分で選ぶことができる。
それゆえに全てが同じ人数になるという訳では無く、優騎達の学年は美術、音楽、家庭科の順に人数が多く家庭科にかんしては全体の２割しかいない。

「とりあえず、明日は頑張りますか〜」

「あー、明日は1年生とも合同だっけ……」

荷物をまとめ終え、バックを持って優騎は席を立つ。

1年生と合同というのは毎年1年生が選択科目を選ぶさいにする"お試し"みたいなものだ。
3回にわけて1年生が全ての選択科目をみて、その後自分が受けたい科目を選ぶことになっている。

「ユウくんは料理得意だからいいよね〜。私は今から明日の調理実習が不安だよ〜」

「調理実習か……何作るんだっけ？」

「唐揚げと大根サラダ、あとプリン」

「……最後何て言った？」

足取り重い風華が言ったメニューの中に変なものがあった気がするので優騎は風華に聞き返した。

「プリン」

「…………」

気のせいではなかった。
何故ゼリーとか簡単なものではなくてプリンなんだよ！
と言ってやりたいが今ここで彼女相手に言っても意味はないのでぐっと抑え、代わりに優騎は大きなため息を吐いた。
