「なあ、その飲み物旨いのか？」
「……ただただ酸っぱいだけ」
「美味しいか美味しいくないかで言えば、不味い」
夕食の後片付けを終え、ペットボトル片手に優騎がリビングに戻るとイスに座った桜と亜由美が1本の缶ジュースと格闘中だった。
商品名は『毎分クエン酸』知らない飲み物だ。
それに毎分はダメだろ……。
優騎はその2人とは対面に座り自身の飲み物をあける。
「優騎こそ、その飲み物美味しいの？」
「これか？」
500ミリリットルペットボトルに書かれた商品名は『ココナッツサイダーDX』
なにがデラックスなのかは解らないのが怖い飲み物だが、それを優騎は冷蔵庫にいくつも買いだめしている。
「最初は冒険心で買ったんだけど意外と旨いんだよ」
「冒険心って……。普通はそんな心無いよ？」
亜由美はなんとか飲みきったらしい缶を自分から遠ざけるように置き、飽きれた声で言う。
「というか優騎。その飲み物ってあそこにしかないよな？」
「急に会話に入ってくるな」
優騎は後ろに立つ絋斗に驚き、絋斗は彼の隣に水の入ったグラスを手に座る。
「悪い悪い。で、あそこにしかないだろ？」
「……まあな」
絋斗に頷き、優騎はサイダーに口をつける。
"あそこ"とは学園裏の自販機の事で、知ってる人はほとんど居ない場所だ。
しかし、その自販機にはゲテモノと呼ばれるものや、レアな飲み物がある事からファンも多い。
まあ、"ココナッツサイダー"みたいな当たりの飲み物なんてほとんど無いのだが……。
