自分の部屋にバックを投げ入れ、必ず誰かしらが居るリビングに行き、"ただいま"と挨拶を言う。
1年間でパターンとかした優騎の帰宅後の行動。

「皆は今日の昼ってどうしたんだ？」

冷蔵庫からミネラルウォーターを取り出し優騎はテレビを見る奴らに問う。

「「カップ麺」」

「「「学食」」」

蓮と刻也はゴミ箱を見ながら言い、風華とマユ、亜由美の3人はテレビから目をそらさずに言う。

「……じゃあ、この惨劇は？」

「「「「…………」」」」

優騎の前に広がるのは流し台に並べられた皿、皿、皿。
ぐちゃぐちゃになった皿の山。

5人はそれぞれ目をそらし優騎と目を合わせようとしない。

優騎はきっとこの5人、昼は寮で食べたんだなと悟り静かに皿の山を片付けるのだった。

「今日の夕食、量減らすから……」
