マユが四季寮に入った翌日の朝。
まだ夜が明けたばかりだというのに優騎はリビングでコーヒーを飲んでいた。

別に徹夜をした訳でもない彼がなぜリビングにいるかというと……。

「……今日は弁当とかいらないんだった」

日頃からの習慣って怖い。
優騎はコーヒーを飲み干し、キッチンに立つ。
弁当がいらないとはいえ、朝食が無いわけではない。

朝食を作り出すと、匂いにつられてなのかフラフラと風華がリビングに下りてくる。
その彼女を目覚めさせるため特別濃いコーヒーを優騎が用意していると玄関から新聞をとってきた絋斗がやってくる。

更にしばらくして桜と彼女に連れられた形で亜由美が。
しっかり着替え終えた刻也が起きてくる。

「で、いつも通り蓮は起きて来ないのか」

「……マユちゃんもね」

「大丈夫。時間的に嫌でももうすぐ起きるよ」

2人以外は準備を終え、刻也は先に学園へと行ってしまった。
絋斗は時計で時刻を確認し、亜由美は読めもしない新聞を暇潰しに眺める。

「あ、来た」

風華のその一言に優騎達は玄関に向かう。

「ユウ兄、なんで起こさないの！？」

「おい絋斗か！俺の目覚まし止めたの！」

「……起こさなきゃダメか？」

「ちょっと待て蓮、それは俺じゃない。寝ぼけたお前だ」

アホ４人のコントを見ないようにして桜、亜由美、風華の3人は寮を出た。

四季寮の朝は1人増えたところであまり変わらない事がこの日わかった。
