4:50のアラームで起きた。
白子猫・銀子猫が来た。
朝食はバナナと待望のロールパン。

レンタル彼女というビジネスを忠実に描いているアニメだ。

10:10、家を出て、徒歩で移動。
11時に待ち合わせ、乗りバス開始。
昼食は市境に近いとんかつ専門店へ。
プリペイドVisaで支払った。

今回は彼女の長崎スマートカードの使いきりが主な目的である。
長崎スマートカードは、［複数の会社の交通機関に乗れるＩＣカードとしては日本初］だった。
それが老朽化を理由に廃止となるのである。
マイクロバス路線に乗り、長崎駅前で残高を使いきった。
これで「長崎県営バス」に今後は乗りバスすることはない。

そのまま駅前でのバスウォッチング、
やがて、お気に入りのバスが来たので終点のターミナルまで乗り、
帰りのバスもお気に入りということで、こちらもなるべく長く──中心街まで乗った。

夕食は、その中心街にあるファミレス。
唐揚げ定食＋トッピングを注文したら、知識不足のアルバイトが「トッピングができるのはステーキ類だけです」と言った。
「それは思い違いだ」とはっきりと突っぱねた。
それでも、オーダーの「＋チキンステーキ」ではなく「＋チキン南蛮」で運ばれてきた。

閉店間際のダイソーで電池を買って、20:40、乗りバス終了。

徒歩で帰った。

沖縄を舞台にしたホラー小説（短編集）を読んだ。
方言の使用を最小限にしてあるので読みやすく、
だからこそ、異形感が際立った。
