ある技能に長けた人に
「師」という敬称をつけてるんでしょ？
(技術師･看護師･美容師･占い師…etc)

だったら
イラストレーターとか画家を
絵を描くことに長けた人、
「絵師」と呼んだところで
なんの失礼もないでしょ。

むしろ素人を絵師呼ばわりする方が
プロに失礼な気がするんだが
そこはまぁ
各々が誰を師と仰ぐかの違いだけだから
別に重要じゃない

気持ち悪いと思うなら
別にそれでも構わないし
事実自分も絵師という言葉は
そんなに好きじゃないけど
自分がマクドナルドを
マクドと呼ぶのが気持ち悪いのと
同じような感覚だと思ってる
